Folding is done at high speeds and over a number of different formats. Each fold process is quality controlled to ensure folds are even and uniform throughout the project.
A simple folding can help create a standard sized mailer which can cut your postage costs by as much as $0.20 per piece. Our service reps routinely consult with our Clients during the initial planning stages of a campaign to explore folding options and insure your project gets mailed at the most economical postage rates available.
Pre-personalized reply coupons assist with response rates by making the processes easier for both respondents and marketers. Respondents are able to utilize the pre-populated reply coupons which includes their personal details and marketers can use the reply coupons to both record replies more efficiently as we as leverage previous donation details in efforts to increase donations. For this reason the Fold/Slit/Nest process has been used by many marketers. The process involves pre-personalizing a reply coupons on legal sized sheets. The reply coupon is then folded within the first fold of the letter and then slit along a gutter. This process results in a loose personalized reply coupon that matches to the personalized cover letter. The Fold/Slit/Nest process helps enhance the customer experience while at the same time helps to provide for a greater ROI.
Whether you have 1 or 13 inserts, Troi Mailing Services has insert equipment that is right for your project. Mechanical insertion is available on standard sized invitation envelopes right up to oversized 9″x12″ envelopes.
Troi’s customer service reps will insure that your direct mail envelopes are machineable and have commercial flaps. These features are requirement for mechanical insertion. When required, matching is also done in-line when personalized inserts are being mailed within non window envelopes. The order of inserts within each envelope is critical. Our insert equipment can be set and run based on your project’s specific requirements. This ensures that your message gets received and read the way it was intended.
Polybagging or polywrapping is most often used by direct mailers of publications or catalogues. Being clear the polybag allows for the content of the publications to be displayed while at the same time it helps to keep the materials pristine throughout the direct mailing process. Polybags also allow for the publications to be mailed with additional items such as flyers or coupons more commonly referred to as outserts.
Troi Mailing Services uses Canada Post and United States Postal Service (USPS) pre-approved polyethylene. This ensures our polybag production can run through both postal systems without any delays. Standard poly weight used is 1.25ml but can go as high a 2ml to accommodate catalogues that are 500g or more in weight.
Polybagged mailers are most often addressed through the use of an address sheet. The address sheet is printed with the respondents address details and is included as an outsert within each polybag. Many marketers use the address sheet to further entice respondents by printing teaser messages or calls to action on each address sheet.
Tabbing is a service used by many mailers and direct mail printers. Troi Mailing services offers tabs in a number of different sizes and colours. The most commonly used tabs are 1″ clear with a perf. Adding tabs in the right spots can help reduce postage costs on a direct mail campaign by qualifying the mailer as Machineable Personalized Mail. Tabs also add another physical element to the direct mail package which entices the respondent to interact and open the mailer.
Address labels come in a variety of different shapes and colours. They allow for personalization on direct mailers with high gloss and UV finishes. Address can be printed using a number of different fonts and colours. Labels can be affixed in a number of different places, but we ensure they are affixed within the designated address zone required by Canada Post or USPS.
Tip on is the industry term for affixing a piece of collateral such as gift cards or product sample onto another item such as a postcard or letter with easy release glue. Its primary purpose is that it allows marketers to present the collateral in a format that is both noticeable and interactive.
Marketers commonly use the tip on process when sending out loyalty cards. The cards are personalized and matched to the recipients personalized cover letter during the tip on process.
