People are in love with information, which means magazines are still alive and kicking. We’re here to help share your expertise with beautifully designed, high-quality magazines covering every imaginable topic, including:
The two most common methods of magazine printing are:
8.5 x 11 inches and 5.5 x 8.5 inches are the most affordable magazine sizes. There are also larger format magazines (think Life) and smaller digest sizes (Like Readers’ Digest) to help you stand out. However, the most common standard magazine sizes include DIN A4 (8.27 x 11.69) and DIN A5 (5.82 x 8.26).
Coated papers are the traditional paper used for magazines to get that glossy appearance. The most common coating is “china clay,” which helps reduce ink absorbency. Printers typically offer the following paper options:
Magazine binding refers to the way the pages are held together. We offer the following binding options:
Saddle Stitch Binding
This is the most common binding that nests magazine page spreads, folds them, and attaches the pages with staples.
Page counts are limited to multiples of four (2 fronts and two backs) and tend to max out at about 64 pages.
Perfect binding uses flexible thermal glue at the magazine spine. This method is more common for books and is suitable for maximizing magazine pages.
It is also less noticeable than staples used in the saddle stitch, so it is also a good choice for higher-end magazines.
This is often the preferred method for business documents, using holes and screws to connect covering boards to the pages. It is suited to specialty, one-of-a-kind magazines like handouts at a conference.
Magazine printing costs are based on the type of paper, number of pages, coatings, binding and print magazine distribution method. To give you an idea of pricing ranges, 1,000 magazines can cost $1,000.00 or $5,000.00 depending on unique specs like dimensions, paper stock, finishings, and page count.
Catalogues offer the ideal format to engage customers and help sell products and events. We print a wide variety of catalogues, including:
Our catalogue printing service helps promote your offering with exceptional images and engaging content wrapped up in an easy-to-read format customers can refer to again and again.
Catalogue printing costs vary significantly from project to project. We can provide a quote based on the project’s specifics, including the type of paper, dimensions, number of pages, coatings, binding, packaging, and print catalogue distribution method.
Our magazine and catalogue distribution services simplify getting your print product in front of the ideal reader or customer. We print and send your magazines/catalogues directly to your target, whether it is based on your mailing list of subscribers or a rented address list.
A good direct mail distribution strategy begins with an intimate understanding of your ideal target and the best places to reach them. In addition, your strategy should consider the following:
Building your subscriber/contact list helps you reach a broader audience. You can focus on marketing to attract more subscribers using various channels where your target is most likely to be found, whether it is transit ads, social media, pay-per-click ads, other publications, etc.
Although magazines can simply be labelled and mailed, you can also introduce packaging options such as a protective poly bag or envelope. Packaging allows you to insert other printed items on advertisers’ behalf or encourage subscription renewals. You can charge for partners to contribute relevant offers to help cover the costs.
Choosing eco-friendly printing methods and poly bags helps increase your social responsibility to improve brand optics.
Data-driven decisions are a must. Data helps you better understand your audience to improve your distribution strategy continuously. Data also helps you identify the proper channels for your distribution.
Bagging partners your publication with other publications that appeal to your audience. It adds value, whether it is another magazine, product catalogue, leaflets, etc.
Offer snippets of free articles on a website, with the option to subscribe to your print version to increase subscribers.
